Open mic night
New night open to any kind of act
Novas Contemporary Urban Centre on Greenland Street is sharpening up its act and kicking off a monthly open mic night.
Anyone who fancies having a go, including budding comics, it can get up and entertain from 6pm to 11pm in the Jamaica Rooms pub at the venue on Sunday August 30. A standard PA with 5 channel mixer, speakers, and mic with stand are provided, so all you have to bring is yourself.
From then on the idea is to host the night on the last Sunday of every month.
