Watershed comedy nights are the new kid on the block, with plans for the city's first regular Sunday night stand up gig.

I bumped into Echo man and fountain of all things Scouse Peter Grant today, who was kind enough to invite me to his next poetry show as part of the Liverpool Comedy Festival.

He'll be hosting Granty and Friends at the Everyman Bistro on Thursday, May 13, and roping in some well known musician and comic pals to help entertain his public.
