The Silky show
Crosby ex-pat and friend o' the blog Silky is keeping out of trouble in his North Wales haunt of Llangollen by heading up a summer comedy festival.
Not content with running his Kill for a Seat comedy nights everywhere from Yorkshire to Oxford and all over Wales, he's set up the three day festival from June 10 to 13.
He's run Kill for a Seat in Llangollen, and in Mold, for a long time now and says a festival is a "natural progression" of the friendly comedy ethos he's helped to create in the region.
Fellow Scouser John Bishop and Sarah Millican are two of the big names scheduled to appear, but the fest will also be all about promoting up and coming Welsh comedy talent too.
Silky's previously told the local press: "It's a great location, it's easy enough to get to, and there's plenty of accommodation. I'm hopeful people will come from other places where we run clubs and stay for a few days."
And he might be on to something, as shows are already starting to sell out. For the full line up and more information, visit www.llancomedy.com.
